GAS DETECTION
The Krea KR-DTH sensor is an electronic device designed for the detection of Methane or LPG gas in domestic environments. Its primary function is to promptly detect and signal gas leaks, contributing to the prevention of dangerous situations for both people and property.
The Krea KR-DTH sensor is used in various contexts, such as domestic settings, kitchens, workplaces, holiday homes (bed and breakfasts), restaurants, industrial facilities, and, in general, in all environments where flammable gases are used.
When the presence of combustible gases (kitchen methane / natural gas / camping propane) exceeds the safety standard, the gas detector emits an audible alarm signal.
Thanks to continuous monitoring, the Krea KR-DTH sensor detects natural gas (main component: methane), LPG (main components: propane and butane), and urban coal gas (alkanes, olefins, arenes). It emits an alarm signal accompanied by a red indicator light once the gas concentration exceeds 10% LEL.
The device is EN 50270 certified.
A clean output contact, for optional connection to external devices (e.g. solenoid valves, alarm systems), allows the interruption of the gas supply in the event of a detected gas leak.
The Krea KR-DTH sensor is powered directly by the 230 Vac mains supply, ensuring stable and reliable power for continuous operation without the need for batteries.
A solid and durable wall mounting system is provided to ensure stable and secure installation. The housing is made of ABS plastic and is easy to clean.
The KR-DTH is equipped with:
- A high‑sensitivity gas sensor, calibrated to detect Methane or LPG;
- An integrated acoustic alarm that emits a sound signal when gas is detected;
- LED status indicators:
- Green = power supply present
- Red = gas alarm active
- Yellow = fault indication
- A NC–C–NO output contact for optional connection to external devices (e.g. solenoid valves, alarm systems).
